| Forty-two militants killed in Orakzai, Kurram |

| [Dawn] Forty-two militants were killed on Monday in Kurram Agency and Orakzai Agency when fighter jets bombarded the region. According to official sources, fighter jets targeted various militant hideouts in Upper Orakzai. As a result of the bombing, 20 militants were killed and 15 injured. Four militant hideouts were also destroyed. Forces also targeted militant hideouts in Kurram Agency where they destroyed five hideouts. Twenty-two militants were also killed in the operation, in which 11 were also injured. After the military operation in Orakzai, militants moved towards Kurram Agency in large numbers and set up their hideouts in the lower and central parts of the agency. |
