Obama Admin to Israel: "Apologize to Turkey!"

came as Israeli Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu prepares to meet Tuesday in Washington with President Obama. A Western diplomat, who spoke on the condition of anonymity before the foreign minister made his comments, said Obama plans to press the Israeli leader to apologize to defuse tensions.

"The president is very concerned about the breakdown in Turkish-Israeli relations," the diplomat said. Asked if he thought Obama could persuade Netanyahu to apologize, the diplomat added: "I'm sure he'll give it the college try."

Senior Obama administration officials would neither confirm nor deny the president's intentions for the meeting with Netanyahu.

#11  The best bet for Israel is to quietly split the Turkish military from its government. Start providing them political intelligence that sours them on Erdogen and his party.

While it might not make the Turkish military friendly to Israel, it might give them pause if asked to attack Israel, or to put their butts on the line to provoke Israel.

Israel apologizes that subhuman terrorists and thugs from your country tried to run a legal blockade, attacked soldiers of a nation enforcing the legal blockade and got themselves dead and maimed. Next time, just shoot them at home and save us the trouble.

#3  I'm glad I'm not the prime minister of Israel. I would tell Bambi to fuck off and would tell Turkey that one more stunt like the one they pulled by aiding and abetting terrorists on a "aid" ship and it would be considered an act of war and all ports and aid stations in Turkey would be targets.

#2  Just a reminder: over 2,000,000 Christians have either been coerced out of or voluntarily left their Holy Lands since 1947. Muslims are the worst of all ethnic cleansers.

Another reminder: only Muslims are allowed in their own "holy lands" (al-haramain). We should set up a Muslim free zone, 200 miles around Temple Mount. Rabbi Kahane was right.
