2010-06-15 |
[Maghrebia] The African Union (AU) is finalising a "model law" prohibiting all forms of ransom payments to terrorist groups, APS reported on Sunday (June 13th). The proposed legislation will be written in such as way as to enable member countries "to incorporate its provisions into national law", AU Peace and Security Commissioner Ramtane Lamamra said Sunday at the African Centre for Studies and Research on Terrorism (CAERT) in Algiers. |

#1 The proposed legislation will be written in such as way as to enable member countries "to incorporate its provisions into national law", Yes, feel free to copy the text and then simply add your mark. "Ransom payments" ....quite easy to define. "Terrorists".... not so much. Could be your uncle Lolo you're talking about. |
