QUETTA: At least six persons, including three policemen and three Bomb Disposal Squad (BDS) officials, were injured in an explosion in Quetta on Monday.
According to police officials, a man spotted a rocket in a graveyard of Kaichi Beig area of Saryab and informed the police. Police and the BDS rushed to the site to defuse the rocket. As they were doing so, a bomb planted nearby went off, injuring six officials. The injured officials were taken to the Combined Military Hospital (CMH) for treatment. A case has been registered against unidentified men under the Anti Terrorism Act (ATA) and further investigations are underway. |
