| Gregoire (Gov-WA) attacks McKenna's (Atty-WA) plan to sue over health-care law |

| OLYMPIA (WA) -- Gov. Chris Gregoire lashed out Monday afternoon at Attorney General Rob McKenna's decision to join a multistate lawsuit challenging the health-care legislation just approved by Congress. "I don't know who he represents. He doesn't represent me," Gregoire said. Maybe because he represents the PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF WASHINGTON In a statement announcing his decision Monday, McKenna said he believes the health-care measure's requirement that everyone buy health insurance is unconstitutional. |

| #11 The thing is, Gregoire used to be the Attorney General for the State of Washington. She knows full well that the office is *not* accountable to the Governor but is a separate, elected, position. |
