Terrorists sought since early 90s killed in Algeria security sweep |

[Maghrebia] Algerian security services killed three terrorists on Sunday (March 21st) in a sweep operation near Tebessa. The three men were among the first to join the GIA in 1992-1994 and were sentenced to death in absentia in 2008 by the court of Tebessa, local press reported. According to L'Expression, their particular group murdered a dozen people in 2007, including two families and a brigadier of the gendarmerie. |
