| #8 And to get more serious for a second... MANY CONSPIRACY THEORIES AND CONSPIRACY THEORISTS ARE SOCIAL CONTROL MECHANISMS. THIS VIDEO IS ONE PRIME EXAMPLE. People like the author of the video want to imply a million things they can't or won't prove, but instead put YOU in the position of having to DISPROVE it. Meanwhile, they maintain that Al Qaeda _doesn't exist_. But they set up the argument such that _you_ have to _disprove_ the illuminati, not that _they_ have to disprove Al Qaeda. Because they don't want to have to talk about the _real_ governments behind Al Qaeda, like (for instance) Pakistan's, with a nuclear deterrent and no clear way for us to deal with the situation once and for all. And _that_ situation is exacerbated because the mainstream political parties suprisingly don't want to talk about the nuclear-armed state sponsors of Al Qaeda either. |
