[Dawn] Frontier Police on Thursday arrested two militants from Mathra area after an exchange of fire with militants, according to a DawnNews report.Police said one of the arrested militant got injured during shooting and was taken to Lady Reading Hospital for treatment while the other is in their custody. According to details, Mathra police was on routine movement in the area when some militants opened fire at them. In retaliation, the police also opened fire and two of the militants were arrested while three others ran away.
Police have started initial investigation and a search operation has been launched in the area.
