| Hamas member dies in Rafah tunnel |

| [Ma'an] Ma'an -- Hamas' armed wing said on Thursday that one of its members was killed while carrying out a "Jihad mission" in the city of Rafah, in the southern Gaza Strip. The Al-Qassam Brigades said that 26 years-old Suleiman Abu An-Najja was killed. A statement from the group did not explain what the nature of his mission was. The director of Ambulance and Emergency services in the Health Ministry in Gaza, Muawiyah Hassanein, said that Abu An-Najja's body was recovered from an smuggling tunnel under Gaza's border with Egypt. |
