KIRKUK / Aswat al-Iraq: The regional parliament of the Iraqi Kurdistan region decided to merge 10 ministries and cancel three others. The decision paves the ground toward forming a new Kurdish regional government. “This came in today’s parliamentary session,” said a release posted on the Parliament’s Web site on Monday. It is expected that the new regional cabinet in Kurdistan will be announced during the parliament’s coming session on Wednesday, according to the statement. |
