| Taliban killed a local tribal elder after kidnapping him on Tuesday, while two of his family members are still in the group's custody, said local sources and the Taliban. The bullet-riddled body of Malik Zahir Shah Gorbuz was found from Shwafarsh area of Safi tehsil after he was kidnapped on Tuesday along with his son and another relative. Taliban spokesman Akramullah Mohmand told reporters that the group had killed the elder because he was holding jirgas to organise an anti-Taliban lashkar in the area. |
