| JI to take out 'Go America Go' rally on Aug 18 | |

| [Geo News] Jamat-e-Islami Pakistan (JIP) said it will take out "Go America Go" rally on August 18 in protest against the extension of US embassy here in Islamabad. Ameer JIP Syed Munawar Hassan will be leading the rally, party sources said on Tuesday. This was stated by the president and the rally coordinator JI Islamabad Syed Muhammad Bilal. "The rally will commence its journey at 5pm evening from Aabpara and will be bound up to France Chowke on Shahra-e-Dastoor", he said and revealed, "The setting up of a US army base in the name of extension of US embassy is entirely unacceptable." Over one thousand US marines troops are being imported to Pakistan, he accused.
