| Aswat al-Iraq: Joint Iraqi forces arrested on Thursday 11 suspected gunmen during a security campaign in Jalawlaa, according to a security source. "Police and army forces waged on Thursday (Aug. 6) a crackdown operation in separate areas of Jalawlaa district (30 km southwest of Khanaqin), where they arrested 11 persons, suspected of being involved in violent acts in the region," the source told Aswat al-Iraq news agency.
