Ex-MNA held in Polish engineer murder case |

[The News (Pak) Top Stories] Attock Police have arrested former MNA Shah Abdul Aziz on charges of his alleged involvement in the killing of Polish engineer Piotr Stanczak. A member of Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan, Atta Ullah Khan, who was arrested from Sabzi Mandi, Islamabad, confessed he, along with his accomplices, killed more than 50 people, including security forces personnel, government employees and a Polish engineer on the directives of former MNA Shah Abdul Aziz. Atta Ullah said that he had assisted in over 15 suicide attacks and was involved in several incidents of target killings. The Basal police station arrested the accused and presented him before the Anti-Terrorism Court Rawalpindi Judge Baqir Ali Rana, who sent Abdul Aziz on three-day judicial remand. |
