| Algerian terrorists number less than 400, official estimates |

| [Maghrebia] The number of active terrorists in Algeria is between 300 and 400, National Commission for the Promotion and Protection of Human Rights (CNCPPDH) President Farouk Ksentini said Thursday (April 23rd) at a forum organised by El Moudjahid. He voiced hope that President Abdelaziz Bouteflike would pursue a general amnesty for these remaining militants, provided they surrendered arms. |
