| [Iran Press TV Latest] The MSF says that the two aid workers kidnapped in Somalia's Bakool region are in good health, despite contradictory media reports. The Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) website said Tuesday that the aid body had obtained 'reliable' reports from its own sources confirming the health of the aid workers who had been abducted Sunday. Earlier reports quoted an unnamed UN official in the Somali capital as saying that one of the two kidnapped Belgian doctors had been beaten by his captors for refusing to eat since his kidnapping. Somali gunmen who are holding the two Belgians have asked for a $1 million in ransom. |
