| Tizi Ouzou terror attack kills 4 Algerian troops |

| Four Algerian soldiers are dead and four others wounded after a terrorist attack on an army convoy Monday (March 16th) in Tizi Ouzou province, Algerian press reported. Terrorists detonated two bombs near Tadmait on the road to the military barracks in Ait Ouarzedine and opened fire on the soldiers before managing to flee. Ten days ago, a suicide bomber struck a communal guard barracks in Tadmait, killing two people, including a female civilian. In other news, a bomb explosion Monday morning in Berzeguene, Tébessa province, killed a farmer and his 16-year-old son, Liberte reported. Terrorists have killed seven people in the Algerian province adjacent to Tunisia since Saturday. One victim, a shepherd, had his throat cut before his herd was stolen. Several of his relatives died in a roadside bomb explosion as they rushed to the scene. |
