Taliban say ready to defend Pak eastern border |

Taliban commander Tehsil Khan on Saturday reiterated that a contingent of 500 suicide bombers was ready to act against Indian aggression Khan said 35,000 Taliban armed with latest weapons were also ready to defend the eastern border of Pakistan. The spokesman of Mullah Nazir group (Wali Muhammad), based in South Waziristan Agency, told reporters they had identified their target (India) after the recent Indo-Pak tensions. He said no action would be taken against the Pakistan Army in the current circumstances. He also warned India against aggressive designs against Pakistan, otherwise the Taliban would ruin India with suicide attacks. "We have our reservations on the government's policies, but the Taliban will be the first to lay down their lives for the sake of national sovereignty," Khan added. |
