LA Times: Palin too moderate for GOP on contraception
2008-09-07
What next - her favorite outfit clashes with the official GOP posters? She once read a book in which a character said provocative things? She doesn't cut the crusts off of her kids' PBJs???

Dear Lord it is going to be a long 2 months ....

#9  Its a simple trick by the left to try to blunt Palin;s appeal.

The difference hwere is that Palin does not object to education about condoms. She still is against explicit stuff.

Its the left using dishonest half-truths, trying to stomp down the enthusiasm on the right, which will beat Obama.

#8  Charlie Gibson does the honors. I suspect her ratings and those of the network will experience a significant bump.

#7  Palin's granted ABC an interview later this week. It will undoubtably bring that channel a huge audience and a ratings bump.

How long before the sheep in the MSM discover the amazing virtues of Gov. Palin in order to reap the same reward?

Don't know if it will play out that way, but given that they aren't going to be able to sustain the lurid charges without justification for too much longer, they may come around in order to be on the winning side.

We'll see.

#6  McCain and Palin, that's who's on the ticket, vote for them or don't. I'm sick of this, I wish it were Nov. already.

#5  The fact that Palin has the lefties in such a frenzy really nails home the point that she's the real deal!

#4  Who elected the LA Times leader of this outfit?

#3  A lot of people are going to get a feel of what it's like to try to shoot a moose. RECOIL!

#2  Like anyone at the LA Times knows any Republicans to ask this question.

#1  Mickey Kaus has an interesting take on this. He thinks that the sooner these half-baked theories and false rumours are paraded in the press, the sooner evidence appears to refute it. What he missed is that by going public with this stuff, the legacy media further damage their reputation as a source of useful information in the eyes of the public.
