Justice Minister Ibrahim Najjar said Thursday that surveillance cameras caught images of a possible suspect who was carrying a briefcase believed used in Wednesday's Tripoli bombing . "This act could have been carried out to drag the army into a confrontation," Najjar told the Voice of Lebanon radio station. He said the bomb attack could have also been an act of revenge against the Lebanese army which fought fierce battles in 2007 with extremists from Fatah al-Islam in the northern refugee camp of Nahr al-Bared. |
