| Taliban take over Pak TV booster |

| Local Taliban on Monday took over a PTV booster in Barang tehsil of Bajaur Agency, Dawn News reported. The channel said that the political administration of Bajaur Agency confirmed that a jirga was negotiating with the Taliban to have the compound vacated where the TV booster is located. Earlier, the Taliban had caused a partial damage to the same booster, and it was being repaired. |

| #1 I'm guessing this is what we call a repeater. Takes signal from distant transmitter and boosts it, sometimes on different frequency. |
