| #4 After having two children of their own, Helms and his wife adopted a 9 year old boy named Charles who had cerebral palsy. It is said they adopted him after reading in a newspaper that he wanted a mother and father for Christmas. |

| #3 From his position in the US SENATE, Jesse Helms stood fast against America's enemies guarding Her from Her enemies foreign and domestic. Jesse Helms was like another great American who stood *foursquare athwart the leftest drive to destroy America from within and forced them out into the open until reinforcements came up to help. He was out of fashion according to the Eastern elites they constantly harped on the fact that he was a product of a different time, but Jesse really changed through the years while the Leftists dandies and demoCrap fops never did and they continue to sabatauge America from within till this day.
