| #2 Tutu was in the news this morning condemning Bob. Nobel laureate Archbiship Desmond Tutu also called for peacekeepers to be sent to Zimbabwe. Mugabe "has mutated into something quite unbelievable. He has really turned into a kind of Frankenstein for his people," Tutu told ABC television in Australia. Not that it means much. (Praised with faint condemnation?) |

| #1 Mr Mbeki has so far been keeping with his policy of "quiet diplomacy" towards Zimbabwe. More accurately, Mbeki has been turning a blind eye. Nothing from His Lordship Desmond Tutu or Madiba either. |
