(Bloomberg) -- Four foreign tourists were kidnapped from a yacht by pirates near the coast of Somalia's northern Puntland region, Agence France-Presse said, citing officials.
The tourists, who include a woman and a child, were taking photographs when they were seized yesterday, Bile Mohamoud Qabowsade, a presidential adviser in the region, was cited as saying by AFP. He said they were taken into nearby mountains, and Somali forces were deployed to try to find the tourists, who hadn't been identified, AFP reported.
