The government is not holding peace talks with Al Qaeda or the Taliban as claimed by the Western media, and it is only negotiating with the Mehsud and other tribes in the country, FO spokesman Mohammad Sadiq said on Thursday.
In his weekly press briefing, he said the government was fully committed to countering terrorism with the support of the people of Pakistan.
But not Baitullah. He's incapable of terrorism. | Pakistan has a clear policy with regard to terrorism and terrorists, he said,
adding, “We are not holding talks with Al Qaeda or the Taliban ... we are only holding peace talks with the Mehsud and other tribes to bring peace in the region.” |
