(VOI) - Deputy dean of the Agriculture Faculty was killed by a bomb inside his vehicle while leaving the faculty in northern Mosul, a police source said on Monday. “A bomb left inside the private car of Dr. Fares Younes Abdul Rahman, deputy dean of the Agriculture Faculty, went off while he was leaving the faculty in northern Mosul, killing him instantly,” the source, who requested anonymity, told Aswat al-Iraq – Voices of Iraq – (VOI).“The bomb exploded after the professor’s car passed the faculty’s gate, located at the former presidential palaces, killing him and seriously injuring one of the university’s bodyguards, who was rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment,” he added. “The bomb was planted underneath the driver’s seat,” he noted.
