Two civilians wounded in Mosul attack |

(VOI)-Two civilians were wounded in an attack launched by unknown gunmen against an Iraqi army checkpoint in Mosul, a Ninewa security source said. “Two civilians were wounded when gunmen shot RPG missile against an Iraqi army checkpoint in al-Tahrir district, east Mosul”, a Ninewa security source, who requested anonymity, told Aswat al-Iraq-Voices of Iraq (VOI). The source noted “the servicemen went unscathed while two civilians were wounded with splinters”. He did not provide further details about the accident. Mosul, the capital city of Ninewa province, lies 405 km north Baghdad. |
