| Two Thai soldiers wounded by roadside bomb |

| Two Thai soldiers were wounded in a roadside bomb blast in the southernmost border province of Yala. The bomb was detonated as six soldiers patrolled an area in the provincial seat. Volunteer Rangers Suwanai Maitim and Pongtad Pansanun were rushed to hospital. The road where the incident occurred was temporarily closed for evidence gathering. According to the initial investigation, it was a remote controlled bomb but police are not yet certain how it was activated. |
