(KUNA) -- The Israeli Army arrested six Palestinian youth in the village of Beta, close to Nablus, on Sunday. Witnesses told KUNA that Israeli soldiers stormed the village and searched its houses before arresting six youth of no more than 16 years of age, taking them to an undisclosed location. The Israeli forces had closed off the village on Friday after an Israeli passenger bus had come under fire originating from the village. The Jewish state is tightening its siege on Palestinian towns and villages as part of its elevated state of alert coinciding with the celebration of the festival of Purim. |
