| At least 20 militants including four commanders have surrendered to the security forces in Kabal tehsil of Swat valley on Thursday, sources said. A jirga was held in the tehsil, in which Aman Committee Chairman Sher Khan and security officials participated, the sources said, adding that around 20 militants including four commanders turned themselves in to the security forces and also laid down their weapons. The security forces released the militants after they offered sureties in accordance with the jirga requirements. |
