Talking to Geo News while giving his opinion on a ban on the channelÂ’s transmissions, Sharif said government officials had contacted him on more than one occasion and asked him to meet Musharraf in Jeddah, adding that he had categorically refused to meet Musharraf because he didnÂ’t want to settle his issues with a military dictator at the cost of the peopleÂ’s interest.
