Militants exploded a powerful bomb at the venue of a tribal jirga on Thursday, two kilometres west of Miranshah in North Waziristan, damaging five vehicles. The blast occurred at around 12 noon in Eidgah DarpakhelÂ’s car park, disrupting the Dawar tribe jirga that was convened to decide how foreign militants could be ousted from the area.
