Morshed, a transport worker hailing from Shahebprotap, was arrested Sunday evening suspecting his involvement in motorbike lifting.
"Say, Morshed, whacha got in the back of the truck?"

He was allegedly tortured to death in Narsingdi model thana and the body was sent to Dhaka Medical College Hospital the same night.

Postmortem report of Morshed said the body bore marks of deep injuries.

Sub-inspectors Akbar Hossain and Matiar Rahman closed earlier were today suspended for torture of Morshed.
