Muttahida Majlis-e-Amal (MMA) Secretary General Maulana Fazlur Rehman on Friday demanded immediate withdrawal of troops and paramilitary forces from Swat and the Tribal Areas. “The title of ‘war on terror’ has become an ambiguous terminology. Therefore, I demand withdrawal of forces from Swat, Balochistan and the Tribal Areas, and steps to eliminate impediments to the enforcement of Sharia in the country,” he told reporters here. Fazl also demanded withdrawal of foreign forces from Afghanistan and Iraq.
