Craig Says Romney `Threw Me Under His Campaign Bus' |
2007-10-16 |
Senator Larry Craig said Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney ``threw me under his campaign bus'' after it was revealed that the Idaho lawmaker pleaded guilty to charges stemming from a sex sting in a men's restroom. ``He not only threw me under his campaign bus, he backed up and ran over me again,'' Craig told NBC's Matt Lauer in an interview to be broadcast tomorrow. Craig said before his arrest he was acting as a Senate liaison for Romney's campaign and ``worked hard'' for him in Idaho. After the arrest became public, Romney called the incident ``disgusting'' and said he couldn't account for the behavior of all of his supporters. |

#10 They didn't mention it in the arrest report but apparantly Craig has massive brass balls. No brains or self-control, but gigantic freaking balls. |

#9 Well, OS, there's a lot of that going around, especially in the Senate. For the moment, it's a more serious problem than bird flu. |

#8 Romney is a jerk. Not saying Craig didn't deserve it for refusing to resign. But Romney is a duplicitous ass. |
