Vladimir Putin's week
2007-06-10
This morning, George W. Bush is sick. I am sick of all these meaningful looks.

“Vladimir!” cries Blair, spotting my entourage from across the complex. He comes hurrying over.

“It wasn’t me,” I tell him. “I didn’t do anything. I am the President of the proud and glorious nation of Mother Russia, and I resent your patronising tone of insinuation! And anyway, he’s from Texas. He won’t even eat sushi.”

“Eh?” says Blair. “I just wanted to say that your sole is flapping. Do you want to borrow some shoes?”

“Oh,” I say, and I look around to see if anybody is watching. “Yes please.”

#2  Yesterday, Vlad said, operate anti-Iran missiles jointly with Russia, in Eastern Europe.

Makes sense. Would it not be better to co-operate with the Russians? The current situation has us allying with Saudi Arabia, because of their oil wealth and arms purchases, while Russia does the same thing with Iran. There will have to be eventual unity between the secular states, against the Muslim tyrannies. The Middle East Democratic Initiative didn't work, because of mosque based terrorism. I trust the New Russia more than I trust Islamofascist junk states.

All I am hearing today on the anti-missile basing in Eastern Europe, is irresolution. That policy was as ill thought out, and the warped decision to continue Clinton's anti-Serb ploy in Kosovo. If you want Hilary elected, then hand Kosovo to Albania, and celebrate self-determination, until terror cells form.
