#18  USAA is best - if you qualify.

Thanks, Daddy.

#17  I enjoy the comic relief of the Geico commercials. They're certainly waaaaay better than those ignorant and retarded "esurance" commercials. And some of the humor is pretty subtle, which is a nice change from the blatant in-your-face schtick.

I prefer insuring with Amica though. Something about several years of JD Power awards that seems more important than funny commercials.

#16  Actually, the one with Peter Graves is funny as hell, if you get it.

#15  Last time I watched a network sitcom, Taxi was on primetime.

#14  Didn't they do this awhile back with "Harry & The Henderson's"?

#13  I liked the one in the airport where he passed the sign. Didn't say a thing, just had this look of disgust on his face with that horrible muzak playing.

I think the campaign's fairly clever and far better than the idiot gecko (who started off complaining we were dumb and called him instead of Gieco and then suddenly became their employee of the month).

Still don't think any of their adds convince me to buy insurance from them.

#12  #5 DV - you needed proof?

#11  Completely out of ideas ... (But you knew that when Disney (owner of ABC) started making movies based on theme park rides).

#10  I've seen that one, Sea. It puts the therapist in her place, she being so species-centric, heh. I think that we Rantburgers could have made a pilot for ABC easily. We could crank out a good script, only it would have to be heavily edited in the Snark Dept, so it would be suitable for network tv.

Let's suggest it to ABC and we can get a righteous revenue stream for Fred coming to the Burg. Hell, we could set up an endowment, and a foundation, we could go on the lecture circuit in costume. WE...COULD....HAVE....IT.....ALL..........

#8  I kinda like the GC caveman, specially the one where he's at the therapists' and puts his mom's call on speakerphone...

#7  I decided I didn't want to pay $55 dollars a month for the two channels I really want. So now, I don't watch TV. Oddly enough...I don't miss it. For entertainment I use the blockbuster online thing and get movies. Course, this means I hear people talking about all these weird shows I've never heard of on campus, but then, I'd not want to watch them anyway.

Personally, I think alot of people would be happier if they just turn the bloody thing off.

#6  Never watched one with the sound up. Took me a long time to figure the premise.

#2  ...I'm SICK of those damned commercials. The first couple were funny, but that was a while back. Bring back the gecko.

PS - Years ago I had to do business with a GEICO subsidiary called Criterion. After that nightmare I wouldn't do business with GEICO again if thye were the last insurance company on earth.
