#8  You'll also notice that there is no complaint from the Iraqi government, which doesn't mind the decrease in Saudi terrorists.

#7  a5089 - how about the fence between Gibraltar and Spain that was only removed a couple of weeks ago after being in place for more than 40 years? "Good fences make good neighbors."

#4  Lol, yesterday evening the annoying pretentious anchorman of the liberal-limousine news channel I-télé introduced the reportage about the 700 miles fence bill by saying : "after the Berlin wall... after the israeli wall... there will be a third wall, the USA have announced...".
Fell the love.
No bias at all, hé!

Fences and walls are much in use, IIRC... first of all, there's this gigantic WALL (not a fence) in morocco-occupied western sahara, there's of course that fortified fence between the two kashmirs, there's that soody wall (a modified pipeline) to lessen smuggling from yemen, there's that fence between Thailand and malaysia, there are various fences on the borders of eastern Europe countries to lessen human smuggling and immigration... and even the Holy EU has its own fence, separating the spanish enclaves from the moroccan territory. Probably more, but that's all I can come up with right now.

#3  Gosh, it's the latest fashion! Soon there'll be articles in Vogue and Paris Match about the latest colour combinations for the palings, and optional shapes for more appealing earth berms.

#2  But, but, FENCES DON'T WORK! Or some other weak BS designed to trip up the politicians and buy some time to come up with some other weak BS like "it will keep desert cactii from being pollinated" . . . .
