Three Islamic Jihad operatives were killed in two separate incidents in the Gaza Strip on Thursday. In addition, two Kassam rockets were fired at communities in the western Negev. No one was wounded and no damage was caused. In the morning, IAF aircraft bombed a car carrying two members of the terror group between the towns of Khan Yunis and Rafah. The IDF said the two were on their way to perpetrate attacks against Israel. On Wednesday, two other Islamic Jihad operatives were wounded in an Israeli missile strike. Later in the day, troops shot and killed an armed Palestinian placing a bomb near the security fence close to the Kissufim crossing. Islamic Jihad, in a text message sent to reporters, said the man, Yussef Kabalan, 21, was a member of the terror group and was shot while approaching the border.
