#2 They should have approached it differently. Send them a letter in which they *praise* them for their bravery, in that they are risking being murdered by fanatical Moslems for their portrayal of any "prophet", which is how Moslems define Jesus. Conclude that the artists should now equally bravely depict Mohammed to show how important they truly feel the first amendment is compared to other people's religious sensibilities. Adding, of course, that only cowardly and hypocritical anti-Christian bigots would single Christians out solely because they felt they could get away with it. |
