#9 The molecule [nitric oxide] is actually integral to controlling blood flow and is, in fact, the molecule Viagra targets in order to increase blood flow to the penis. then it's no frikin wonder when ever I think... |

#8 The molecule [nitric oxide] is actually integral to controlling blood flow and is, in fact, the molecule Viagra targets in order to increase blood flow to the penis. Well, that certainly explains why this works in the male brain. |

#7 JFM... hmm The equiv. to nitric oxide in Linux would be the modprobe-insmod kernel threads and now the user space device stuff in UDEV The first puff of nitric oxide would, of course, be the bootstrap code. As to the obvious booting energy derived from nitrous to nitric oxide we will have to leave that to beachball researchers in international waters. |

#6 No, you are correct that they are not the same, BUT, in your body laughing gas is converted by some systems into nitric oxide. Look at the history of viagra development. |

#4 Nitric oxide and nitrous oxide - AKA laughing gas - are not the same thing. |

#3 So following this logic a Viagra in the morning might well be more effective than a cup of coffee. As releasing nitric oxide is what your brain and your family jewels both need to boot. (^8 Or maybe just a balloon of laughing gas. (welders and dentists alert?) |
