![]() On Friday, a joint team of the ATS and the Intelligence Bureau (IB) had taken into custody three suspects in connection with the bombings that killed 200 people and wounded over 900. “Interrogation of the three arrested suspects has revealed several vital leads, which we are following,” he said. Meanwhile, Maharashtra’s Deputy Chief Minister and Home Minister R.R. Patil yesterday reiterated his accusations that Pakistan-based terrorist organizations were behind the blasts. Speaking to Arab News yesterday morning, Patil said strong measures would be taken to stop cross-border terrorism. Reacting to Pakistan President Pervez Musharraf’s demand of proof, Patil asserted Maharashtra government’s view that Pakistan-based terror groups were involved. “The Pakistan president will be given the proof shortly. Our police will soon submit proof of the involvement of Pakistan-based terrorist organizations,” Patil added. |

Raghuvanshi, who heads the Anti Terror Squad (ATS) of the Mumbai police, gave the names of the three persons as Khaleel Aziz Sheikh (24), Kamal Ahmed Ansari (32) and Mumtaz Ahmed Chowdhury (34). Hmm... hindus ? jews ? buddhists ? methodists? That's it.. they must be methodists... or hindus trying to put the blame on innocent muslims. |
