ARMED Palestinian group the Popular Resistance Committees has threatened to kill a Jewish settler it claimed to be holding unless Israel stopped an offensive in the Gaza Strip. "Unless the aggression stops, we will kill the settler," a representative of the Committees said. The Palestinian militant group has claimed to be holding a second Israeli citizen kidnapped in the occupied West Bank on Monday, following the capture of an Israeli soldier on Sunday. Although there has been no official Israeli confirmation of the kidnapping, police have confirmed they are looking into reports that a Jewish settler in the West Bank was missing.
