Two Israeli women were injured when a rocket fired by Palestinian militants in Gaza Strip hit an area near Sderot in south Israel. The injured women were taken to a hospital for treatment, Israeli radio said. Seperatley, Al-Quds Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Jihad movement in Palestine, said two rockets, were launched towards occupied Al-Majdal city, south of Israel late Saturday. The Brigades fired four more local made rockets, Quds 3, towards Sderot early Sunday. Israeli army spokesman said a Palestinian rocket hit a school in Sderot causing damage. The school was empty at the time and no injuries were reported, he added. The Brigade said the attacks came in retaliation of the assasination of group leader Mohammad Al-Dahdouh yesterday in Gaza. |
