#1 I posted this yesterday, but this needs showing; the other cartoonist guy I do not know, but Erik Svane's blog is here, and he also writes at No Pasaran (*excellent* bilingual blog, with also "W", aka MIF, and Joe N., an arab-american) and Le Monde Watch, a great ressource on the "french newspaper of reference", supposedly "center right", but where mock-elections during the 2002 preisdentila election put the... trotskyst candidate far ahead!
The Baf also made some great anti-idiotarian stunts, my favorite being the crashing of the socialist party's celebration of the late president F. Mitterrand, by visually reminding everyone that this "great man", who sold french educative system to Saudi Arabia against a $100 billions loan to save socialist-run 1983 France from bankruptcy btw, was a Vichy collaborator back in the olden WWII days. |
