Snipped, ran this story yesterday.

#11  Sometimes I just stand in mute awe at the Stupidity.
To not only ask the Farmers to return, but try to make them pay a lease payment to farm their own land is just so far beyond Stupidity that I can only conclude that Brer Muggabe has gotten one too many death threats to ignore, but does not consider them seriously enough to do more than make a token, sure to be refused, effort to divert attention.

#9  What will happen to RB favorite F.B. Hard? Will he stay on as a fieldhand? Rejoin the army? He seems to be a man with a limited skill set.

#5  This was posted yesterday, and as someone pointed out....which of these farmers would be moronic enough to go back? And, note that even IF they get their land back, they're leasing it! No way I'd go back to a country so unstable, that it'd overturn this new rule in 2 weeks! Let 'em starve. Bob and Kimmy both deserve what they get from their own doing from their peoples. Now, where's Farmin' B. Hard?

#4  >i?In a second stage, the leases will be extended to some white farmers who have already been evicted, particularly where there is no activity on that land. Some fled to Britain, Australia, New Zealand or South Africa and are desperately homesick.

And this would be the "spin" the media has been briefed on. Gonna need a new PR consultant.

#3  This exceeds the YJCMTSU definition.

Anyone have a new, extreme irony / CogDis / etc. offering, that fits?

FDC - Fatal Cognitive Dissonance?
RFSP - Heh.

#2  While this is a reversal of Zanu PF's policy to rid Zimbabwe of all white farmers, some of those who lost their holdings are cynical about any offers from the government

I'm satisfied those farmers who are still alive might have a bit of "cynical" attitude regarding this amazing reversal, but what about the hundreds who were hacked to pieces and brutally murdered, raped, or were burned out by your thugs and "war veterans" Mr. President?
