Happy Thanksgiving
2005-11-24
Happy Thanksgiving to all Rantburg readers.

A special thank-you and the warmest thanksgiving to the men and women who will be cold and lonely today while defending our country. We will always remember what you do for us.

#20  Thanks to you for providing a great site. Have a great Thanksgiving. Our men and women might be cold but they are not as lonely as in recent wars. They know they have their brothers and sisters in arms with them and a gratefull nation that loves them!

And thanks to all the members of our armed forces, past and present, for all they have done.

#17  Happy Thanksgiving:

To the men and women of the armed services and National Guard, who sacrifices can never be repaid and must always be remembered

To loving parents whose devotion and sacrifices have made our lives better

To true friends who keep us strong and surround us with love

To Rantburgers, who are fighting the valiant fight of celebrating America's goodness and keeping the heat on radical Islam's evil.

I am grateful.

#16  God has been especially good to the Old Patriot family this year, and will receive our grateful thanks not only throughout the day, but day by day, as long as we live. Thanks too, for those that serve this nation and its people by being deadly to its enemies, and tender with its friends, wherever they are serving. Special thanks to Fred and Rantburg, where I can find a bit of sanity in an insane world, and people I feel are my neighbors and friends. For those Rantburgers who are not US citizens, I extend my special thanks for your presence and insight here. Consider yourself "part of the family", and join us in thanksgiving and joyful prayer.

#15  Happy Thanksgiving to all -- to the Rantburgers who read, ponder and post; to Fred who provides this wonderful space, and his moderators who guard its reaches; to all those here and abroad who understand the importance of fighting the this war, and those who will yet come to understand; and to the warriors in all branches of the Service, who guard against those who wish Freedom ill. Many tryptophans to the good guys, and a lack thereof -- followed by useful confessions -- to the bad guys. ;-)

#12  Happy Thanksgiving to all RB'ers, especially Fred. Most of all, thanks to our brave soldiers, sailors, airmen and Marines. I and my family are in your debt. Thank you for the safety that you provide. Each and every one of you are an inspiration to me.

I am SO not worthy.

Happy Thanksgiving, all.

#4  Best wishes to all here at Rantburg on this day of thanks. Especially to America's warriors who give their all for our liberty, but also to Rantburg's own Fred, whose respect for freedom of speech is simply breathtaking.
