| ISLAMIC militants suspected to be linked to al-Qaeda stormed a house and cut the throats of two people in eastern Algeria in the latest attack since voters approved an amnesty for rebels, newspapers reported today. The newspapers said rebels also kidnapped three people in the region. Authorities were not available for comment. |
