 Unidentified men shot and killed a seminary teacher here at about 7pm on Monday night, police sources told Daily Times on Tuesday. Qari Abdul Salam, who taught at a seminary near the Old Polo Ground in Gilgit, was on his way to his way to his in-laws’ house when unidentified gunmen shot him. He died at the scene. Salam was a resident of Bargo in Hospital Colony. The sources said that Salam’s in-laws had lodged a first information report in which they had nominated Fiaz Iqbal, a resident of Hospital Colony, and two other men as accused.| "If nominated I will run like he**, if convicted I will not serve." |
