4 al-Qaida suspects seized in Saudi
2005-07-27
RIYADH, Saudi Arabia, July 27 (UPI) -- Security forces arrested four people in western Saudi Arabia suspected of having links with al-Qaida, officials said Wednesday. Interior Ministry spokesman, Maj. Gen. Mansour bin Sultan al-Turki was quoted by the daily al-Jazeera as saying security forces captured the suspects in Medina.
"The people who were seized are believed to belong to the strayed group and they were referred to the concerned authorities for interrogation," Turki said. "Strayed group" is the official description of al-Qaida.
Turki did not identify the names or nationalities of the suspects and did not say how the capture operation took place or whether arms were seized. Saudi Arabia has been rocked by terrorist attacks since May 2003 in which more than a 100 people were killed.

#2  "The people who were seized are believed to belong to the strayed group and they were referred to the concerned authorities for interrogation."

After a substantial amount of ass-kickings and face-beatings, the suspects will come around to the proper view which is (a) accept unconditionally the authority of the Al-Saud ruling clan and (b) claim that you strayed because Zionist-Jewish agents led you astray.

Whereupon if such conditions are met, you are free to return to Soddy society.

#1  Of course they were.

I'm trying to figure something out about Nayef and the Saudi approach to this cops 'n splodeydopes thingy. Is it that they don't really understand the Catch 'n Release thingy or are they truly devious and have invented their own approach, Release 'n Catch?
